Time to Kill

I kill a lot of time by shopping online. Most of the time I come out empty because I'm too cheap or I get side tracked. Today, I got side tracked because while looking for a cute clock for the kiddos, I found this really cool Etsy shop, IMOTIME.

The guy who runs this Etsy shop makes clocks out of things he finds at thrift shops and estate sales. There are a couple I'd consider buying like this one made from a New Orleans souvenir platter.



Then there are the cool and interesting clocks like this fortune cookie tin clock called Fortune Cookie Time.



And the just interesting clocks like this one made from a circular saw blade.



And the what-in-the-world-was-IMOTIME-thinking-when-he-made-this-clock clocks. Take a look at Bed Time.



Or one that would definitely give me nightmares if I placed it in my room. It's called Hedda.



Hedda reminds me of the scary story my cousin Anne told me when we were children sitting on her parent's bed under the covers. It was about a china doll who came to life and killed the child... I think. Anyway, the story scared me so much that I took the head off of the chinese doll my grandfather had given me and put the beheaded doll and head in my closet - body parts placed as far from each other as possible.
